The Good Shepherd counselling centre was reorganized and relocated to Wattala as the "Shepherd's Center", providing professional counselling and psycho-social support.

The Good Shepherd Sisters in Beau Bassin are engaged mainly in pastoral ministry, reaching out to children, youth, families and adults, especially those who are vulnerable or in need of support. Their mission includes visiting and accompanying the sick and elderly, assisting in retirement homes, providing catechesis to children, and supporting parish liturgical activities.
The Sisters also offer a caring and listening presence to families, particularly mothers in distress, and accompany people in their faith journey, sacramental preparation, reconciliation and community life. Through their presence in the parish and among various groups, they seek to be a loving presence of Jesus the Good Shepherd, bringing hope, healing and dignity to those they encounter.
